Chris Brown: “Truly Sorry” About Assault
He’s been awfully quiet since the February attack on Rihanna, but now Chris Brown has spoken out on a 2-minute homemade video – apologizing along the way.
The newly surfaced video was posted on TMZ earlier on July 20, with Brown pleading his case, saying, “I cannot go into what happened, and most importantly, I’m not going to sit here and make any excuses. I take great pride in me being able to exercise self-control and what I did was inexcusable. I am very sad and very ashamed of what I’ve done.”

I think what Cris did is a reflection of whatis happening in our society with regards to issues of gender based violence… As a man Iam really ashamed of what happen but also encouraged that he was able to own up to what he did for which there is no excuse. What the dude should dois to dedicate himself to the fight against sexual and gender based violence because he who much is given, much is expected.

I cant b live pple are still making chris’s life miserable coz of sth that happened a year ago.get over it pple!! he is human and he made a mistake yet it has really been blown out of proportion. leave that boy to live his life. Infact, we don’t really know his side of the story and after all, all you haters were really never his fans.
